They combine teacher comments with test results and grades to provide a comprehensive overview of the student\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"559\">Assessments can be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"559\"><strong data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"573\">Printed<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"588\">emailed<\/strong> (individually or in bulk)<\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"628\">Created<\/strong> by either <strong data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"651\">teachers<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"671\">School Admin<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This tutorial explains how to create and manage Assessments <strong data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"754\">as a School Admin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"821\">\ud83d\udc49 For teachers, there is a separate tutorial available <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/en\/tutorial\/menu-students\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The Student&#8217;s Assessments Card:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Student\u2019s Assessment Card stores all evaluations and feedback for a student, including comments, test results, and grades. This what it looks like before anything is added:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR200-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16751 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR200-1.jpg\" alt=\"Student Assessment Card\" width=\"911\" height=\"189\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Test Results:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Tests that a student has completed\u2014either through the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/en\/tutorialcategories\/registration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">Registration Module<\/span><\/a><\/span> or those shared by their teacher\u2014will display their results here.<\/p>\n<p>For more details on tests, there is a tutorial <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/en\/tutorial\/test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Notes:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1317\">Notes<\/strong> are comments written by teachers about specific areas of a student\u2019s studies. The subjects available for comments are created and managed in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/en\/tutorial\/notes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">School Admin \u2013 Settings \u2013 Notes<\/a><\/span><\/span>. To add a comment click the &#8220;Note&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR201.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16882\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR201.jpg\" alt=\"Add Note\" width=\"873\" height=\"181\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR201.jpg 1157w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR201-768x159.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 873px) 100vw, 873px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When the &#8220;Note&#8221; button is clicked a card will appear:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The <strong>current date<\/strong> automatically filled in.<\/li>\n<li>A dropdown menu to <strong data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"1693\">select the subject<\/strong> of the note.<\/li>\n<li>A text box to <strong data-start=\"1728\" data-end=\"1746\">enter comments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A checkbox to <strong data-start=\"1769\" data-end=\"1807\">allow the student to view the note<\/strong> when logged in.<\/li>\n<li>A checkbox to <strong data-start=\"1845\" data-end=\"1894\">include the comment in the printed assessment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Save &amp; Close&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR210A.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16888 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR210A.jpg\" alt=\"Student notes added\" width=\"598\" height=\"467\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR210A.jpg 803w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR210A-768x600.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can add as many notes as you wish by repeating the steps above.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Emailing and Printing the Assessment for individual students:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2054\" data-end=\"2143\">Once all comments have been added, you can <strong data-start=\"2097\" data-end=\"2106\">email<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"2110\" data-end=\"2119\">print<\/strong> a student\u2019s assessment by clicking the appropriate button.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2054\" data-end=\"2143\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR203.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16890 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR203.jpg\" alt=\"Selecting how to send assessment\" width=\"931\" height=\"193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR203.jpg 1157w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR203-768x159.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 931px) 100vw, 931px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Whichever you choose to do, a card will appear allowing you to <strong data-start=\"2267\" data-end=\"2290\">select which fields<\/strong> to include in the assessment<\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2502\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\" data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2434\">\n<ul data-start=\"2306\" data-end=\"2434\">\n<li><strong>Area A<\/strong>: General items from the student\u2019s <strong data-start=\"2353\" data-end=\"2367\">Group Card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2376\" data-end=\"2386\"><strong>Area B<\/strong>: Student-specific items added by the teacher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204BD.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16896 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204BD.jpg\" alt=\"Select fields for assessment\" width=\"540\" height=\"434\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204BD.jpg 803w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204BD-768x617.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After you click &#8220;Print&#8221;, the individual assessment will either be emailed to the student or printed out.<\/p>\n<p>[vc_message]<span style=\"color: #000000;\">I<span style=\"color: #333333;\">f the &#8220;Send assessment report&#8221; button is in grey,<\/span> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-16898\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR205.jpg\" alt=\"Send button\" width=\"163\" height=\"31\" \/> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">it means that there is no email address on the student&#8217;s card, so the Assessment cannot be emailed. Add an email address and it will turn to blue.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_message]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Emailing Assessments in bulk:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can also email assessment reports to multiple students at once based on the Groups they are in.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Students.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;More&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Send assessment report to students in groups&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR206.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16902 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR206.jpg\" alt=\"Send report to all students\" width=\"807\" height=\"291\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR206.jpg 1105w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR206-768x277.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 807px) 100vw, 807px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once you have done that, a list of all your Groups will appear, select the groups whose students you want to send assessments to:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR207.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16906 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR207.jpg\" alt=\"Selecting groups\" width=\"782\" height=\"522\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR207.jpg 1118w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR207-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR207-1079x720.jpg 1079w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 782px) 100vw, 782px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once you click &#8220;Next&#8221; choose the fields to include in the assessment (as described above).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204C.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16911 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204C.jpg\" alt=\"Select fields\" width=\"577\" height=\"464\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204C.jpg 803w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/UKKR204C-768x617.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 577px) 100vw, 577px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Clicking &#8220;Print&#8221; will send Assessments to all the students in the selected groups with email addresses.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Printing Assessments in bulk:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to print assessments for more students at the same time, use the mass print option.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Students.<\/li>\n<li>Filter the students to show only those whom you want assessments for.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;More&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;Assessment report&#8221; from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Select which items you want to appear (see above) in the assessment and click &#8220;Print&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ukkr208.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16914 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ukkr208.jpg\" alt=\"Assessment report\" width=\"821\" height=\"309\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ukkr208.jpg 1128w, https:\/\/www.schoolmate.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ukkr208-768x289.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 821px) 100vw, 821px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Other Points:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>As we\u2019ve seen above, <strong data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"225\">School Admin<\/strong> users can send Assessments to students via email. Teachers can also send Assessments to <strong data-start=\"316\" data-end=\"339\">individual students<\/strong> after adding their comments \u2014 <strong data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"410\">if they have been granted permission<\/strong> in the system settings. Go to <strong data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"552\">School Admin \u2192 Settings \u2192 Basic Settings \u2192 System Configuration<\/strong>.
