When you create a company, you must choose how the company will be billed for its lessons. The Default Type of Settlement determines whether the company is charged per lesson (hourly in arrears) or a fixed amount for all classes. There is an explanation on company settlement and payment types here.
What appears on the Company → Payment Card depends entirely on the settlement method you selected.
- For All Classes does not display individual lessons; the company is billed a fixed amount regardless of when the lessons take place.
- Hourly in Arrears the company is charged for the actual lessons that took place during a specified period.
Hourly Payment:
Use this when you want to charge the company in arrears for the exact number of lessons delivered during a certain period.
- Create a settlement for a particular period – See 3 – and then add transactions etc.,
- Balance the company owes.
- The period to be examined in 4 or settled in 1.
- Edit a particular group.
- Filter past settlements, transactions and invoices.
- Click for details, edit and delete.
Settlement for All Classes:
This is typically used to charge a company in advance – or installments – for lessons regardless of when the lessons take place.
- Create a settlement for a particular group and then add transactions etc.,
- Balance the company owes.
- Filter past settlements, transactions and invoices.
- Click for details, edit and delete.
